Starboard coordinates the early stages of a professional introduction. The process begins with the business requirement and ends with a clear handoff to an independent provider, while Starboard remains available as a relationship contact.
1. Understand the requirement
We ask for a concise account of the objective, the support being considered, relevant timing and any practical constraints. At this stage, basic information is usually enough. Starboard does not need identity records or other KYC documents through the website.
The aim is to prepare a useful brief, not to recommend a location, entity structure or professional course of action.
2. Identify a suitable independent provider
Starboard considers the agreed requirement and identifies a provider whose service scope and experience appear relevant. Suitability depends on the facts of the inquiry, location requirements, current provider capability and the provider's own acceptance process.
An identification is a proposed introduction, not professional advice or confirmation that the provider will accept the matter.
3. Coordinate the introduction
With permission, Starboard shares the agreed context and arranges direct contact. We make clear what the client is seeking and who will take the next step. This reduces repetition and gives both sides a common starting point.
The independent provider can ask its own questions and decide whether the matter falls within its scope.
4. Support the initial handoff
Starboard helps keep early communications clear while the client and provider establish their working relationship. The provider explains its onboarding requirements, conflicts or acceptance checks, KYC process, proposed scope, pricing or fees, timing and engagement terms.
Any confidential or sensitive records requested for onboarding should go through the secure route specified by the provider, not through Starboard's public website.
5. Remain available
Once the introduction has been made, Starboard remains available as a point of coordination. We can help resolve communication gaps or clarify the original brief, but we do not supervise the provider's professional judgment or delivery.
Who decides what
Each independent provider conducts its own review and controls:
- acceptance of the prospective client and matter;
- onboarding and KYC requirements;
- advice and professional judgment;
- engagement scope and terms;
- pricing and payment arrangements; and
- timing and delivery.
The client decides whether to engage the provider after reviewing those terms. An introduction does not create a professional or client relationship with Starboard and does not promise acceptance or a particular result.
